Three of us. That's the whole studio.
We've all built our own things, made the same mistakes, and learned what actually matters when every decision counts and the money's your own.
The three of us
-
Will
Design and the site you see
Believes every pixel should earn its place. Obsessive about load times, accessibility, and the kind of design that gets out of the user's way.
-
Jen
Clients & support
Serial entrepreneur who has raised funding, run remote teams and built sales pipelines from nothing. Handles the clients, the Google listings and keeping every project honest.
-
Brad
Servers, security and backups
Writes the parts of your site you don't see, the ones that hold your data and take payments, and keeps the servers, security and backups running. The kind of set-up that doesn't wake you up at three in the morning.
We couldn't afford us either.
We started this after going through the same frustrating thing most people do when they start something: trying to get a website without the budget for a proper agency, and without the time to do it ourselves.
The cheap options meant building it ourselves from a template. A good agency wanted three to seven thousand pounds and six weeks. Neither worked for where we were.
So we built our own, got compliments on it, and started helping other people do the same. That was the whole business at the start: people who'd been through it helping people going through it.
The model hasn't changed. We're still small, still hands-on, and we still only take on work we think we can do well. What has changed is that AI now does the first draft, so we charge a pound a day instead of a few thousand pounds once, and we spend the time we save on the part that was always harder.
The bits we'll put in writing.
We tell you when something won't work
If a design, a feature or a whole plan isn't right for where you are, we say so, even when it means less money for us. You're paying for our judgement, not just our output.
We're honest about AI
AI gets us a first draft, and we'd rather say so. It's the reason the price is what it is. It never touches anything behind the scenes, though: anything holding your data or your customers' details is written by hand, and two of us read it before it goes live.
We don't disappear after launch
Launch day is the start of the job, not the end of it. That's the whole reason we moved to a monthly price.
Your data stays in Europe
Your site is hosted on servers in the EU and we self-host our fonts, so loading a page we built sends nothing to Google or any tracker. The American parts are Cloudflare, Microsoft for email and Google for your listing, and we'll tell you that up front rather than let you find out.
Come and say hello.
We'd rather talk to you than sell to you.
